Everything you need to know about Sub-Zero

An isolate-dominant matrix
SUB ZERO™ combines whey protein isolate as the main ingredient (59 to 65% depending on the flavor) with whey concentrate.

High protein content
SUB ZERO™ offers 20 to 22 g of protein per 27 g serving.
Proteins contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.

4% added L-glutamine
Approximately 1 g of L-glutamine per serving. L-glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body. It is a conditionally essential amino acid added to the formula and declared as such.

Flavors, solubility, and texture

Benefits

Increased and maintained muscle mass

Proteins contribute to the increase and maintenance of muscle mass. With 20 to 22g of protein per 27g serving, SUB ZERO™ supplements daily protein intake.

Complete protein intake

Each serving provides all essential amino acids, including the three BCAAs.

Simple and enjoyable daily

A serving prepares in seconds in a shaker and provides a homogeneous drink with a delicious taste, for regular use without constraint.

Features

What is SUB ZERO™?

Whey, or whey protein, is a high-nutritional-value protein derived from milk. SUB ZERO™ combines two fractions: a predominant whey protein isolate and a whey protein concentrate. The isolate is obtained through a more extensive separation process than the concentrate, which increases its protein content. These two fractions provide all essential amino acids, including the three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs): leucine, isoleucine, and valine. They are called essential because the body cannot synthesize them and must obtain them through diet. The formula is supplemented with 4% L-glutamine, the most abundant free amino acid in the body. It is classified as a conditionally essential amino acid: the body synthesizes it, and food also provides it.

How does it work?

After ingestion, proteins are hydrolyzed into peptides and then into amino acids. These are absorbed in the intestine and distributed to tissues, where they are used, in particular, for the synthesis of muscle proteins. Whey exhibits rapid absorption kinetics.

For whom?

For athletes and physically active individuals looking to supplement their daily protein intake.

Dosage

1 serving = 1 scoop, or approximately 27g

Mix one scoop in 200 to 250 ml of water in a shaker until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Recommended use: 2 servings per day.

Adjust the amount of water according to the desired texture and taste intensity: less water for a denser drink, more for a lighter texture.

SUB ZERO™ can be consumed after training, during the day, or when your usual diet does not easily allow you to reach your target protein intake.

In your routine

SUB ZERO™ in your routine

Whey does not replace food: it supplements protein intake primarily built around meals.

After training

A serving can be consumed after the session for a convenient and quickly prepared protein source.

Between meals

SUB ZERO™ can be consumed as a snack, or accompany a meal where protein intake is insufficient or difficult to organize.

On non-training days

The two daily servings remain the same. They are taken at times of the day when the diet provides the least protein.

Regularity over complexity

The precise time of consumption matters less than the consistency of protein intake throughout the day. SUB ZERO™ fits this logic: a simple, protein-rich and tasty preparation, every day.

Why this formulation?

Why an isolate and concentrate matrix rather than isolate alone?

Because isolate alone costs significantly more, for a very similar amino acid profile. The majority isolate ensures a higher protein concentration; the concentrated whey portion maintains a consistent price with the same nutritional quality.

Why does the protein content vary by flavor?

Because cocoa takes up part of the chocolate recipe: less isolate, therefore 20g of protein per serving, compared to 22g in vanilla and strawberry.

Why add L-glutamine?

Because it is a sought-after amino acid in sports nutrition. Considered conditionally essential, it is the most abundant free amino acid in the body.

Why is it made in Ireland?

For process control: the manufacturer is selected based on their certifications and their ability to meet the specifications required by Corgenic.

Sucralose
Function: sweetener
Dosage: 0.10% — or 27 mg per serving

Steviol glycosides from Stevia
Function: sweetener
Dosage: 0.05% — or 13.5 mg per serving

These three sweeteners provide the desired sweetness in very small quantities. Corgenic displays their exact contents to allow for a complete understanding of the formulation.

All three are authorized in the European Union. EFSA re-evaluated acesulfame K on April 30, 2025, and set an acceptable daily intake of 15 mg per kg of body weight per day, replacing the 9 mg/kg established in 2000. Sucralose was re-evaluated on February 17, 2026, with EFSA concluding there was no need to revise the existing ADI of 15 mg/kg per day. The ADI for steviol glycosides is 4 mg/kg per day, expressed as steviol equivalents. At recommended doses, two servings provide approximately 7.7%, 5.1%, and 3.2% of these three ADIs for a 70 kg person.
